Larry Raby
Lead Carpenter
Larry has lived in the Valdosta area since 1993 and graduated from Echols County High School in 1998. He got his start in the business in 1996 doing electrical work and fell in love with construction ever since. In 1999 he moved to Jacksonville FL and began working for D.R. Horton, a nationwide builder. Within two short years, his dedication and work ethic resulted in him being promoted to Superintendent where he was directly responsible for four subdivisions and oversaw the daily construction operations for up to 40 houses at any given time. In 2001, Larry transitioned from the Superintendent role to framing and has been a framer ever since...it is what he loves to do! To Larry, it does not matter if it is a 7000 sq ft million dollar home on Dr’s Inlet or a 500 sq ft addition...he builds everything as if he were building it for himself. After the downturn in residential construction in 2008, Larry found himself in a situation where there was not much work. He relied on faith and put his trust in God, knowing that He would provide...and He did abundantly. Larry had never answered a newspaper ad or even looked through the classifieds for a job, but for some reason, he did on this day in Mar 2009. This is when Larry and his son Garry became part of the Maples Brothers Construction family and has never looked back. He knows that this is where God has placed him. Larry lives his life for the Lord and considers it a blessing to work around good Christian people. To Larry, it makes all the difference in the world to love what you do every day and know that you are appreciated by those around you. Larry and his wife Dawn have been married since December 12, 2009 and have two children, Garry Diamond and Stevie Diamond. As a final note, Larry had lived in a house trailer his entire life until June 17, 2011 when Maples Brothers Construction completed his new home...Larry and Dawn absolutely love it!!!

Randy Maples
CEO/Owner
I was introduced to my Lord and Savior as a young man, age 13. His grace has sustained me all through my life which has been very blessed. My family has contributed to my blessed life. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Theresa, for 21 years. We have found great joy in raising our sons, Drew and Parker. I am thankful for all of the people that God has allowed to cross my path on this journey through life. I am extremely fortunate to have several lifelong friends. My life was changed as a young man when I found Jesus and again when I read the book Purpose Driven Life. I have been building earthly homes for over twenty years, but my passion is each person in the building industry. My hope is for people and families to build spiritual homes with our Savior as the leader. I pray that Maples Brothers Construction is helping our employees prepare for their eternal home. Preparing for eternity is our goal.
